ROVION SAT II CONQUERS THE
BENELUX MARKET
New iPEK satellite inspection system ROVION SAT II for Van de Kreeke Leidingtechniek. Inspecting house connections from the main sewer made easy.
With the ROVION SAT II inspection system from iPEK, the sewer renovation company Van de Kreeke has acquired a satellite system, which enables standard-compliant inspection of house connections from the main sewer in the application range from DN150 to DN2000 - a worthwhile investment for the specialist. "The RX140SAT II has been on the road almost every day since it was purchased in June," says René Knols, technical director of the company.
INNOVATION FOR VAN DE KREEKE
As one of the leading construction companies, Van de Kreeke always has its finger on the pulse when it comes to innovation. What began 70 years ago as a traditional road construction company has now developed into a diverse business: In addition to construction, asphalt work and concrete technology, Van de Kreeke specializes in sewer cleaning and inspections, among other things.
To avoid excavations during sewer rehabilitation, a "no-dig inspection"
is usually performed. "In this regard, the purchase of this new satellite system is of course an important step. With the RX140SAT II satellite trolley, house connections can be inspected from the main sewer. The technology for carrying out inspections from the main sewer dates back to the early 1990s, but the inspection up to - so to speak - to the toilet bowl is a newer innovation," says René Knols.
